Code of conduct

Code of Conduct

„Fair Play“ is the central point of the Sevengames Community. In order to create a pleasant atmosphere for everybody it goes without saying that respect to the others is the main priority. Here are a few rules which you should consider and which will also save you from unpleasant surprises:

1. No contents may be published which are illegal, harmful, commercial, threating, abusive, molesting, vulgar, obscene, hate raising, racist, or which are in any other way objectionable. It is not allowed to make fun of anybody on the SevenGames Platform because of his age, origin or even his spelling. The same applies to defamation or rumours, which infringe personal rights. This explicitly applies to nicknames which meet these circumstances.

2. If there might occur any conflicts, stay calm and do not insult the others. If somebody has a different opinion, this gives you not the right to insult such person – stay objective.

3. It is not allowed to publish personal data in public areas (forum, chat, guest books). You never know who might read it and thus see your data. This also applies to all personal contact details such the complete name, addresses, telephone numbers, ICQ, MSN, Skype, Yahoo Messenger etc. This will protect you from unbidden molestations. For the private exchange you, as a member of the SevenGames Community should use your internal mailbox. You can show or lock your personal data in your user profile to special user groups via the settings in the “private sphere”-zone

4. Private messages which a user sends to your mailbox must always be treated confidentially. They may only be published if the sender gives his explicit consent.

5. If a user does not answer to a message one should refrain from resending the same message again and again. Spam is seen as disturbance.

6. New users should be helped. It is always difficult for beginners. Just as in real life, saying “thank you” always creates a positive atmosphere. If you were helped by another user he is surely always happy about a friendly reaction.

7. The users of SevenGames are not allowed to manipulate game results for their personal advantage. This includes the exploitation of mistakes as well as the deliberate manipulation of games results, for example by using programmes which are not part of the games software and which emulate, automate singular actions or the complete course of the game, or which change the games files. It is also forbidden announce manipulation methods publicly or privately. The exception is the direct notification to the support, from which the public is excluded.

The SevenGames Team will infringements against the code of conduct at any time with warnings or by banning the user from access. Therefore we ask of you to notify us of offences. We will go into the matter and take suitable measures. Thank you very much for your cooperation.
